Bosses...

There is something about bosses that I just don't understand. I don't know if all are the same, but the ones that I have met so far are like that. I gave them a nickname, I call them "disabled people".

Have you ever had a boss or superior who asks you to do almost everything for him? I mean, yeah, as subordinates, its our job to do so, but even for small and simple stuff that would actually be much faster if they did it themselves.

For example, my superior controls certain administrator rights and passwords for certain databases that we use and only he has the password to login to access certain messages or enquiries that customers send to us.

So, whenever we get such emails, telling us to login and check our messages, we would forward him the email (which has a link for you to click on that would take you to directly to the login page) and ask him to login and retrieve the message for us for dissemination.

What happens is, he sits on it for a whole week and then finally email THAT EMAIL BACK to you and tell you his password and say, "FOUR YOUR ACTION" (telling you its very urgent. -_-)

Of course la, if you sit on anything for a whole week, of course everything will be urgent wat. -_-

I mean, what's so difficult to just click on the link and login then forward us the message right? And even if that is too complicated/time-consuming for you to do, couldn't you at least NOT sit on it FOR THE WHOLE WEEK??

Not to mention that he changes his password EVERYTIME we finish a login session. Duhzz.

Just the other day, he wanted to submit a report to our headquarters, saying its very urgent (of cos lah 4pm deadline you 2pm then start to do) but couldn't find the soft copy of the memo fomat, so I typed it all out for him and sent it to him.

He plugged in the various figures, printed it out and then came to me asking me WHY THE LOGO LOOKS BIGGER HUH??

He was about to ask me to edit he logo for him, can you believe it? He intended to SEND HIS UPDATED COPY BACK TO ME AND ASK ME EDIT THE LOGO FOR HIM THEN SEND IT BACK TO HIM.

How lame is that? Why don't you just resize the logo yourself and print it out directly?? I mean, if you have to mail it to me then I edit, and then I mail it back to you to print, wouldn't it be alot more faster if you just did it yourself?? Its not as if it takes an expert to re-size the logo rite? Just click and drag only wat!!

Its as good as telling me to help you clean ya backside after you shit and then help you wear your underwear then you wear your pants yourself. Its extra redundant work.

Just today I was jokingly telling him that one of these days when we requisite A4 paper, he should come along with us to help us carry the boxes (all the way up to 6th floor!!), since he is the one who is using up most of the paper printing and printing alot of reports.

You know what his reaction was? He was too quick to siam the whole conversation, saying that how he is very busy lahh (yawnzz... what's new?) and that I can go ask other GUYS IN THE OFFICE TO HELP ME. That stupid fucker is NOT a man. You gek siao say "ok" also got problems, need to give me the excuse that you are busy anot? Lame leh. *rolls eyes*

There are a many more other funny stuff that comes from many of the sales managers also, not just him. I realize that they all like to get you to do lame and stupid stuff which are so simple that they could do on their own and would be much faster too.

Not to mention some of them give you their work despite knowing that you are loaded with ALOT of work, telling you that it is URGENT, and that they are BUSY so no time to do it themselves, and at before you know it, they are out there joking, chatting and playing around.

There was one who told me that its so fucking urgent that I have to do it NOW (when I already off computer and packed my bag ready to step out of office), and then when I'm done, she had already packed her bag and left.

I can't even begin to tell you how pissed I was. Are all bosses like that? Is it a sickness or what?
